Nick is a partner at Oury Clark Chartered Accountants and is Head of the Insolvency & Restructuring team, a Licensed Insolvency Practitioner and a member of the association of business recovery professionals.

With over 15 years’ experience in the field of business recovery and insolvency Nick is able to provide creative, realistic solutions to the problems of financially distressed and under-performing businesses.

He has extensive experience across a broad range of industry sectors including leisure & hospitality, property, media and entertainment and professional services, as well as with personal bankruptcies. Nick works closely with directors and business owners who are facing financial difficulties in helping to determine the best strategy going forward whether it be turnaround, recovery or liquidation.

Lip Sync Post Limited, a key player in UK film and TV post-production for over 40 years, entered administration on 15 May 2025. Oury Clark’s Nick Parsk and Carrie James were appointed Joint Administrators. The business continued trading during the administration while a buyer was sought. On 9 June 2025, the company was successfully sold to Play House Studios, preserving jobs and ensuring continuity. The sale marks a positive outcome for the industry and the Soho-based team of over 70 professionals.

Drydrinker Limited, the UK’s top alcohol-free beverage retailer and exclusive distributor of Bero – Tom Holland’s zero-alcohol beer brand – entered administration on 2 June 2025. Nick Parsk and Carrie James of Oury Clark were appointed Joint Administrators. Known for promoting mindful drinking, Drydrinker played a key role in the zero-alcohol movement. The administrators are now seeking a buyer for the company’s assets.

The Cauldron Group, known for its fantasy-themed immersive cocktail experiences, entered creditors’ voluntary liquidation on 26 June 2025. Joint Liquidators Nick Parsk and Carrie James of Oury Clark were appointed to oversee the process. Founded in 2017, the group operated in major cities across the UK and US. UK sites closed on 28 May 2025, resulting in 50 redundancies. Financial difficulties were attributed to rising hospitality costs and the cost-of-living crisis. Liquidators are now realising assets for the benefit of creditors.

Carrie James and Nick Parsk, licensed insolvency practitioners, and partners at Oury Clark Chartered Accountants were appointed as Joint Administrators of the company. The company is authorised and regulated by the FCA as a debt purchase and collection company to provide debt resolution solutions to consumers.
